Editorial policy
What you can expect from the StudyMina Journal, and what we will always disclose.
Who publishes the Journal
The StudyMina Journal is published by StudyMina, an AI-powered learning platform. We write about study methods, exam preparation and learning tools, and we also build one of the tools we write about. That is a conflict of interest, so we handle it openly.
Disclosure
Where an article mentions StudyMina, or any product owned by StudyMina’s founder, we say so in the article. We may recommend our own products, but we will explain why, and we will not present those recommendations as independent reviews. StudyMina is independent of, and not endorsed by, the organisations that run the examinations we cover.
How we research and write
Articles aim to answer a specific question that students actually ask. Claims about learning draw on published research and link to it. Exam details are checked against the official exam provider, and we link to that source so you can confirm the current rules yourself. Where we cannot verify a detail, such as an app’s price or feature, we leave it out rather than guess.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to help draft and edit. Articles are checked for accuracy before they are published, and mathematics is verified independently. AI-generated practice questions are never presented as official past exam questions.
Corrections and updates
Exam rules and app features change. When we update an article, the “Updated” date changes. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will correct it and note the change.
